The year is 2400 and the Federation is once again exploring new worlds and meeting new civilizations. The USS Indefatigable, one of Starfleet's newest ships is on an exploration mission of the Alpha Quadrant. While on the mission, the Federation President sends a message to all that can hear in the clear. Once again, the galaxy is in turmoil and the Federation and its allies must face adversity once again.

Indefatigable's Commanding Officer, Fleet Admiral Winston Cummings, one of Starfleet's most revered officers at many levels, is in charge of this near-2,000 crew vessel. It will be up to him to get his crew to safety and help bring the Federation back to its scientific and exploring ways.
